AAYAH KHALAF

My training

I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program.During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. 

 

 

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting resuts.

 

I am also a Detox specialist, from The Health Sciences Academy which have further deepened my understanding of the bodies detox pathways and how best to support it with food and lifestyle! I believe that cleaning the body from toxins the right way can leave us feeling rejuvenated and even help our weight loss efforts, my passion is to guide my clients on their detox journey through the seasons of the year.

My Story

 

I am Aayah Khalaf. Besides being a holistic health coach and detox specialist, I am also a wife and mother of two daughters. My journey into healthy eating began when I first started raising my children. I wanted to know how best to keep my family healthy and happy, and the more I researched, the more questions I had: What is truly healthy and unhealthy for our bodies? Why are there so many ingredients listed on our food, and what are they? Is there a way to avoid processed foods while still keeping my time in the kitchen to a minimum?

 

In addition, I also suffered from my own health issues that naturally arise from a busy lifestyle of motherhood and household management, brought about by physical and emotional stress. This included chronic fatigue, joint pain, mood and digestive issues. In a way, my path to holistic health coaching started as a journey of self healing. The amazing improvements I saw in my own mind and body fueled my passion to help others heal with a few simple diet and lifestyle changes.


I love working with mothers and children to gradually help them transition to healthier habits and reach their health goals, in a simple and stress free way that focuses more on adding whole, nutritious foods to their diets, rather than restricting or depriving themselves.

If I'm not working or trying out a new healthy recipe, you would find me with enjoying the company of my two beautiful girls. We'r always up to something! Together we love to read, plant, hike, bike, or simply enjoy the sites in scenery of beautiful Washington state.
